Set up to four CPU temperature targets and the motherboard will adjust fan speeds automatically. The MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX is an awesome motherboard with a GREAT VRM. Assume complete control of your fans with Total Fan Control. You could also try using the new (Nov 11) MSI Command Center and see if the fans will respond to adjustment via the Command Center fan curve settings. There are a couple of things you could try, one being the latest BETA bios. When the fans were taken off the splitter, then each put on its own Noctua noise deadener 4 pin cable both fans would start up using default (auto) settings.Īfter that, the fan speed curves were able to be easily adjusted and retained the setting after reboot (using shipping BIOS).
